28th Annual Youth Leadership Summit

Celebrating its 28th year, the National Urban League Youth Leadership Summit (YLS) is a college-based conference that brings together nearly 400 Urban League youth and their chaperones from across the nation. This five-day event will immerse young people in a college setting that will provide them with a unique educational and developmental experience focused on building important skills for success in college, work and life.

The summit is the annual culminating event for all National Urban League Education & Youth Development programs, and reinforces the goals and practices of the affiliates’ work with middle and high school youth from across the country. While youth participants learn to navigate the college experience, Urban League affiliate program staff and leadership will attend structured professional development and capacity building workshops.
