The National Urban League works to provide economic empowerment, educational opportunities and the guarantee of civil rights for the underserved in America. I AM EMPOWERED is an initiative focusing on four aspirational goals for empowering communities to achieve. The Empowerment goals are:

The National Urban League is headquartered In New York City with 88 affiliates in 37 states and the District of Columbia. Nationwide, the Urban League serves over 2 million people annually. The League achieves its objectives through community service, advocacy and activism.
