More than 24 million American households can't afford broadband or access a service where they live. The COVID pandemic exposed the depth of the crisis and its disproportionate impact on communities of color. The situation is especially challenging at many HBCUs, where the inaccessibility of resources compromises learning. The implications affect everyone.
