DCSS LIVE — The Unlimited Opportunities of Black Futures & AI

AI will play a significant role in shaping the future of the workplace for everyone. For Black professionals, the implications are potentially game changing – AI could be a leveraging influence to broaden opportunities, or a backward step toward marginalization. This session is dedicated to the critical intersection of AI and Black futures in the workplace and ensuring that the emerging technologies are designed and implemented to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Topics to be explored include: enhanced productivity, entrepreneurship and –innovation, upskilling opportunities, job displacement, AI system bias, and fair hiring and -promotion practices. A “Black futures” approach to AI will help create an inclusive and thriving work environment for Black professionals.
