Virginia Kase Solomón has dedicated her career to social justice and civil rights, leveraging her 30 years of experience in advocacy, organizing, and policy to deliver pro-democracy wins at every level of government. She is the fourth woman and first Hispanic person to lead Common Cause. Previously, she served as CEO of the League of Women Voters, where she increased membership by 30 percent. From 2013 to 2018, she served as Chief Operations Officer of CASA, an organization at the forefront of the immigrant rights movement. Virginia has testified before Congress on voting and election issues and has appeared in major media outlets, including The New York Times, Time Magazine, and Vogue. In 2020, she appeared on People en Español’s Most Powerful Women of the Year list, and in 2022 and 2023, she was named one of the 500 Most Influential People in Washington by Washingtonian Magazine.
