Vincent Evans is a proven force in American politics and public service, currently serving as the executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), the largest and most influential bloc of Black lawmakers in U.S. history. Evans previously served in the White House as deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs for Vice President Kamala Harris. On the campaign trail, Evans helped chart the course to the presidency in 2020, first as Southern Political Director to President Biden, then as Political Director to Vice President Harris in the general election. Over the last decade, Evans has built a reputation as a bold strategist and coalition builder, playing pivotal roles in campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels. In recognition of his rising national influence, Evans was named a “Young Black Changemaker” by NextGen America in 2022 and one of the 100 Most Influential Black Americans of 2024 by The Root.
