Vinita Clements oversees the human resources needs of approximately 25,000 Nationwide associates. She’s responsible for leading Nationwide’s human resources strategy, including oversight for compensation and benefits, learning and development, diversity, equity and inclusion, recruitment, succession management and organizational effectiveness. Under her leadership, the company continues to be recognized as a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For and ranks 100 percent on the Human Rights Corporate Equality Index. Vinita serves as a board trustee for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Urban League and National Urban League. She was recently recognized as one of the 10 Most Influential Human Resources Executives to Watch, a trailblazer by Smart Business Columbus, one of the Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America by Savoy in 2022 and was named to the Diversity Woman Elite 100 in 2023.
