Tony Waller leads strategy to strengthen Walmart’s reputation, expand outreach, and guide social investments across diverse and multicultural communities, including African American, Hispanic, Asian American & Pacific Islander, Native American, Women, LGBTQIA+, People with Disabilities, and Emerging Generations. Tony joined Walmart in 2006 and has been widely recognized for his contributions and achievements. In 2025, he was named to Ebony Magazine’s Power 100, and in 2024 received the National Leadership Award from the National Newspaper Publishers Association. Other recognitions include multiple community and leadership awards from the NAACP and the National Urban League. He is the only individual to receive the Urban League’s Donald H. McGannon Award twice.
