Tony Coles is a senior executive with 40 years of leadership experience in the media and entertainment industry. He has a proven track record of driving revenue, operational excellence, and inclusive growth at scale. Currently serving as President of Multicultural Business and Development and President of BIN: Black Information Network at iHeartMedia, he leads enterprise-wide strategies that connect brands to America’s most diverse and influential audiences through data-driven insights and purpose-driven engagement.
In his role, he spearheads growth initiatives across Hispanic, Black, AAPI, and LGBTQ+ audiences, delivering innovative solutions for clients and advancing organizational goals around inclusion, audience expansion, and commercial impact. Coles also launched and scaled BIN—the first and only 24/7 national audio news service serving the Black community—creating a new platform for culturally relevant, trusted journalism at a national level.
Coles previously served as Metro Markets Group Division President, overseeing multi-market operations and revenue for major U.S. cities, and as EVP of Programming for the Western U.S., where he led strategic content, talent development, and market growth initiatives. His background spans content generation, general management, and executive leadership, with a consistent focus on driving performance, building high-impact teams, and innovating at the intersection of media and technology.
He currently serves on national nonprofit and industry boards, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (Vice Chair), the NAB Leadership Foundation, the RAB, and The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation.
