Tony Adams is the New Orleans Market President for First Horizon Bank. He began his career working for a Fortune 500 finance and insurance company in New Orleans. After narly five years in insurance, Adams joined First Commerce Corporation (now Chase Bank) in their downtown New Orleans office in a credit administration role. Following his credit role, he transitioned to a Relationship Manager position in Business Banking and then ultimately to Commercial Banking. Adams joined the bank (legacy IBERIABANK) in 2001 as a founding member of the Commercial Banking team in New Orleans. After a successful first year, he was asked to lead the Commercial Banking group in North Louisiana and the Business Banking segment for the State of Louisiana. Adams was then tasked with building the Bank’s de novo efforts in the Northshore market. He successfully developed the Northshore team and market into a thriving commercial, business banking, and retail franchise. Before his promotion to New Orleans Market President, Adams served as Commercial Banking Executive, managing a group of bankers with a multi-billion-dollar book of business.

Active in the community, Adams currently serves on the Board of GNO, Inc., New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), Jefferson Business Council, and St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. He is also a campaign cabinet member for United Way of Southeast Louisiana. Adams is a graduate and Board Member of Leadership St. Tammany.

Adams holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of New Orleans.
