Simone Laws joined Macy’s in 2005 and was promoted to senior DEI director in 2021. In this role, she develops multicultural initiatives that help strengthen the Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Bluemercury brands, ensuring that inclusive marketing and community investment efforts are cohesive. She also plays an active role in employee resource groups and mentorship programs, winning recognition for her contributions to the business and leadership skills. Simone graduated from the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati African American Leadership Development Program and is a recipient of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Black & Latino Achievers Award.
