Speaker Bio
Sarah De Guia brings a breadth of legislative, policy, and partnership experience to her leadership role at ChangeLab Solutions, establishing new partnerships and funding sources to expand innovations in equitable and sustainable food systems; uplift health-promoting policies in rural areas; advance community-based policymaking; and strengthen resilience and opportunities for children and families. Sarah has drafted legislation and regulations in the areas of public health, health care, language access, reproductive justice, and immigrants’ rights. From 2018 – 2021, Sarah served as advisory committee chair for CDPH’s Office of Health Equity. She is currently the board chair for Human Impact Partners. Previously, she served as the director of government affairs and executive director for the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network, where she led efforts to improve health for communities of color and eliminate health inequities.
