RiKaleigh Omosheyin is an Associate at K&L Gates LLP and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group. She advises clients on the policing, prosecution, and enforcement of trademark rights, with a particular focus on developing and executing global trademark strategies.
RiKaleigh also counsels clients on emerging intellectual property issues related to artificial intelligence, including risks associated with training generative AI systems using third‑party intellectual property, copyright applications involving AI‑generated and AI‑assisted content, and evolving approaches to enforcing IP rights as AI technologies advance.
She has extensive experience managing trademark portfolios and advising on brand protection, including web‑based infringement and online enforcement strategies. RiKaleigh handles UDRP proceedings and advises clients on combating cybersquatting and other domain name–related threats.
Her experience spans a wide range of industries, including fashion, beauty, hospitality, consumer products, real estate, food, and medical devices. She also has experience litigating trademark matters in federal court and represents clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
