Paula Merrick Roddy is a former high school mathematics teacher and has served in administrative and executive level positions across several state and local agencies for the past 30 years. She is a member of the Association of Governmental Accountants, the Government Finance Officers Association, the American Contract Compliance Association, the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials, the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council, the St. Paul Church of God in Christ and the state DBE Liaison Officer for the Federal Highway and Safety Administration. She is an avid supporter of Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB), National Public Radio (NPR), the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Of Moving Colors Productions and is a certified pageant judge within several pageant systems.
