Porsche will be celebrating 28 years with Marriott International in September 2021. She is well known for her strong relationships, breadth of knowledge and expertise in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Operations and Owner Relations.
In her current role as Vice President, Hotel Openings & Transitions, she leads Marriott International’s hotel openings and transitions processes across the United States, Canada, and Caribbean/Latin America. Her team is composed of 90 associates residing across the United States. They are responsible for opening over 350+ new build hotels annually and transitioning 250+ operating hotels through ownership changes, brand to brand conversions, and management company changes.
Prior to her current role, Porsche worked as Regional Senior Director of Operations & Owner Services, Marriott Select Brands, where she helped drive regional and corporate initiatives to achieve $1.5B in revenue and a 48.9% profit margin across 240 hotels.
Previous roles Porsche has held include:
- Area Director, Marriott’s Eastern Region where she led 14 managed hotels with $72M total sales, $36M house profit and $23M net house profit
- Market Account Executive Leader, East Northeast Region
- Market Director of Group Sales, Marriott and Renaissance, Caribbean & Mexico Resorts
- Senior Director, National Accounts for Marriott’s Global Sales Organization
Porsche currently resides in Franklin Park, New Jersey with her husband, Mark. Their son, Blake, recently graduated from Virginia Tech University and works as a Civil Engineer in Vienna, Virginia. Porsche loves to spend time with her family and friends and traveling the world.
