Nicolaine Lazarre is an expert in nonprofit management, commercial law and corporate governance and leads external affairs for Charger Communications, the nation’s #1 rural internet provider. Prior to joining Charter, she served as senior vice president and general counsel for the National Urban League, where she project-managed CEO Marc Morial’s economic development and supplier diversity initiatives. She also founded the Women and Civil Rights Dinner, a salon event focused on generating business leads and board opportunities for senior female executives in business, law, and finance. As a board member of Multicultural Media Telecommunications and Internet Council, Lazarre worked on the national broadband plan, media consolidation and broadband access. She currently sits on the Federal Communications Commission’s Communications Equity and Diversity Council.
