After a high-level media career, California native Nina Easton co-founded JOURNEY to equip extraordinary women leaders to reach the top. Previously, she served as Fortune magazine’s Washington editor and national columnist following a decade as an award-winning Los Angeles Times writer. As co-chair of the Fortune Global Forum and chair of Fortune Most Powerful Women International, she produced CEO events in Asia, North America, and Europe. She has published three books on American politics, served as a teaching Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, and is now a member of the prestigious Trilateral Commission. As co-founder of SellersEaston Media, she has produced films about impactful leaders. Together with Pattie Sellers, she executive produced the film Gumbo Coalition chronicling the life and work of NUL CEO Marc Morial and UnidosUS CEO Janet Murguía. In 2024, the Center for Strategic and International Studies launched the Nina Easton Inspiring Impact Award to acknowledge her work to amplify women leaders.
