Melissa Blount-Garner plays a pivotal role on the executive leadership team of the Fifth Third Bank Corporate Responsibility Office, where she oversees the strategic direction and execution of national events, corporate and foundation giving, and community partnerships nationwide. With more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Melissa brings a comprehensive background in community development, corporate philanthropy, client and project relationship management, investment banking mergers and acquisitions, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and professional development. Her civic and professional engagement includes leadership roles at the Columbus Urban League, Community Development For All People, and the Community Development Collaborative of Greater Columbus, among many others. Melissa’s contributions have been recognized by the Women’s Economic Leadership Development Council, the Columbus Urban League, and Mahogany Magazine.
