While still in 6th grade, Marcus Davis picked up his first set of clippers and found his calling. After high school, he enrolled in barber school with the goal of one day owning a barbershop. Upon graduation, Marcus opened Techniques Barbershops & Salons in the south suburbs of Chicago. In the early 2000’s, the film “Barbershop” came to Chicago and Marcus was hired as a set barber and consultant. More industry projects followed, including the hit shows “Empire” and “The Chi.” Today, Marcus is one of the most sought after barbers in the entertainment industry, providing fresh cuts for A-listers.
