Maurice Coleman leads a national team responsible for Bank of America’s origination of low income housing tax credit equity through syndication partners to create multi-family, mixed-income affordable housing.The team also executes New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) to build and rehab community facilities and commercial real estate projects serving under-resourced communities. For over a decade, Mr. Coleman served as board chair of the New York City - Local Initiatives Support Corporation, TruFund Financial Services, and the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Business Resource and Investment Service Center. He was also the co-founder/vice chair of two charter schools, Capital Prep Harlem and Capital Prep the Bronx.
