Michele Cober manages Verizaon’s strategic relationships with third party organizations representing various civil and human rights interests. Previously, she was an attorney in Verizon’s Federal Regulatory & Public Policy Group, advocating on behalf of the company before the FCC and defending the company in litigation. She graduated cum laude from Howard University School of Law where she was executive publications editor of Howard Law Journal. After law school, she clerked for the United States District Court of Maryland before joining the litigation teams at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Hogan Lovells LLP. Cober is governance committee co-chair for Washington Performing Arts, and serves as vice president of the Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc., DC Metro Chapter.
