Dr. Melissa E. Clarke is an innovative leader in population health and health equity with 20 years of experience caring for and empowering patients. She served as a senior medical Consultant at Fortune 500 companies and assistant dean and faculty at Howard University College of Medicine and is the former chair of the board at Unity Healthcare, the largest federally qualified health center in Washington, DC. Currently, Dr. Clarke serves on the Maternal Morbidity Task Force for the State of Maryland and is a co-founder of the Black Coalition Against COVID 19. Dr Clarke authored the popular book “Excuse Me Doctor, I’ve Got What?” Her weekly podcast inspired by the book, “Excuse Me Dr!,” is heard on Sirius XM and YouTube. Dr. Clarke is a medical contributor to CNN.
