Laysha Ward is an accomplished C-suite executive with 30 years of leadership experience at Target. As Executive Vice President, Chief External Engagement Officer, she oversees Target’s enterprise-wide approach to cross-sector stakeholder engagement to drive business and community impact. She is also a founding member of the company’s Racial Equity Action and Change committee. In 2008, President Bush nominated – and the U.S. Senate confirmed – Ward to serve on the board of the Corporation for National and Community Service, the nation’s largest grant maker for volunteering and service. She later served as board chair under the Obama administration. Ward is also a member of the Aspen Institute Latinos and Society Advisory Board, the Stanford Center for Longevity Advisory Council, the Executive Leadership Council, and the Economic Clubs of New York and Chicago.
