Louis J. King II has over 30 years of experience in education, youth development, and workforce development. In 2022, King became president and CEO of OIC of America (OICA), which includes 27 affiliates nationwide. He leads a transformation of the OIC network, establishing career and technical education training that will enhance economic power for low-income people and serve as a solution to America’s labor crisis. Previously, King served as CEO of Summit Academy OIC, which he grew from a two-person operation to a $15 million annual powerhouse delivering education and career training to more than 1,000 adults annually. King was also the key driver behind the Northside STEM District in the Twin Cities, an initiative designed to create a K-12 pipeline into STEM careers via early exposure and multi-level community involvement.
