LaTosha Brown is a thought leader, institution builder, cultural activist, and artist whose impact reverberates across the realms of Black voting rights, women’s empowerment, and philanthropy. As the co-founder of the Black Voters Matter Fund and the Black Voters Matter Capacity Building Institute, Brown has revolutionized Black voter registration and turnout, raising millions for grassroots groups nationally and amplifying the voices of marginalized Black communities. Brown is also the founder and co-anchor of the Southern Black Girls & Women’s Consortium, a $100 million, 10-year initiative investing in organizations led by Black women and girls in the South. Her groundbreaking work has earned her a spot on the 2024 Forbes 50 Over 50 Impact list, Glamour Magazine’s “Women of the Year” in 2021, the 2023 Women of Vision Award from the Ms. Foundation, and the 2021 Rosa Parks Award.
