Kristen Jarvis West is responsible for engaging community leaders on key issues. She joined Airbnb in 2018 as head of executive operations, Office of the CEO, where she advised on a range of strategic matters. Prior to joining Airbnb, Kristen was the chief of staff for Darren Walker, president of the Ford Foundation. She joined the Foundation in 2015 after six pluses years in the Obama White House, serving as deputy senior advisor and director of external relations. Kristen created dozens of partnerships with high-profile companies, organizations, and constituencies, successfully advancing administrative priorities such as Joining Forces, Reach Higher, and Let’s Move!
