Kayla Conklin (she/her) is a human resources executive, leadership advocate, and community leader dedicated to helping individuals build confidence, find purpose, and thrive both personally and professionally. As Vice President of Human Resources, she brings more than seven years of experience in people strategy, leadership development, talent management, and organizational transformation. She is known for fostering inclusive workplace cultures, empowering teams, and helping people discover and pursue meaningful career paths.

Throughout her career, Kayla has championed a people-first approach to leadership, believing that when individuals are seen, valued, and supported, they are empowered to reach their fullest potential. Her work focuses on creating workplace environments where employees feel humanized, connected to their purpose, and equipped to navigate growth and change with confidence.

Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Kayla is a proud Badger who earned her bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she was also a member of the Wisconsin cheerleading team. She later earned a master's degree in Business Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

Kayla's leadership and community impact have earned her recognition as one of Wisconsin's 52 Most Influential Black Leaders by Madison365 and as a member of the In Business Madison 40 Under 40 Class of 2025. She is a former President of the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals and remains deeply committed to advancing equity, opportunity, and access for underserved and marginalized communities.

Drawing on her experiences as a leader, advocate, athlete, and mentor, Kayla inspires others to embrace their authentic selves, lead with confidence, and pursue careers that align with their values and purpose.
