Jordan is a recognized leader in cybersecurity and policy, specializing in resilience and strategic partnerships across the financial sector and government. As Head of Cyber Human Defense’s Social Engineering Simulation program and Strategic Cyber Partnerships, Jordan leverages his expertise to safeguard organizational assets and drive national cyber initiatives. He spearheads a program that directly counters the pervasive threat of social engineering, cultivating a robust security-aware culture and reducing organizational risk across a global workforce. He is also a principal cybersecurity policy advisor and government liaison, articulating Wells Fargo’s positions and shaping national priorities to identify and reduce risk. His career spans more than two decades, serving as Chairman Emeritus and Board Director for the National Cybersecurity Alliance, guiding the creation of national cybersecurity strategies, and advising congressional and intelligence leadership on policy matters. He is a sought-after speaker who has addressed audiences at multiple conferences including RSA, moderated panels and discussions with federal law enforcement and intelligence agency leadership, and led exclusive discussions with chief information security officers, CIOs, and business executives. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Jordan led financial sector engagement at the Analysis and Resilience Center for Systemic Risk, ensuring resilience across the nation’s most critical and systemically important banks, market utilities, clearing houses, and insurers. Before that, he spent more than 10 years leading communications for the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and supporting initiatives for the Defense and Intelligence communities. As a reporter in the early 2000s, he covered the simulation and training and the Special Operations communities. He has interviewed admirals, generals, undersecretaries of defense, directors of three-letter agencies, and spent considerable time with the men and women in uniform serving our nation. Jordan earned his bachelor’s from the University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism and his MBA from George Mason University’s Costello College of Business. He holds a certificate in Cybersecurity Leadership and Strategy from FIU’s Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs.
