John Hope Bryant is an American entrepreneur and civic leader working at the intersection of markets, public policy, and inclusive economic growth. He is recognized by Forbes as one of the 250 Greatest Self-Made Americans on our nation’s 250th anniversary. Often referred to as the "conscience of capitalism," Bryant has spent more than three decades championing the expansion of opportunity as a moral and economic imperative. He leads Operation HOPE, the nation's largest provider of financial literacy and economic empowerment services, and is the founder and CEO of Bryant Group Ventures, which houses his entrepreneurial, investment, and advisory work. Bryant also hosts the NAACP Image Award-nominated podcast "Money & Wealth with John Hope Bryant.”Bryant is the author of seven bestselling books on economic empowerment, including his latest, “Capitalism for All” (2026).
