Speaker Bio
Hugh Allen is head of commercial real estate for TD Bank, which primarily includes banking private real estate developers, REITs, and affordable housing investment and lending. Hugh has more than 30 years of experience in banking. He joined TD Bank in 2014 as a commercial real estate regional director. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, the Real Estate Roundtable, and Mortgage Bankers Association, and was a founder of African American Real Estate Professionals (Washington, D.C.). Hugh currently serves on the board of directors for The National Urban League, the Hydrocephalus Association, the Research Triangle Foundation, and The Arts Empowerment Project. In 2022, Hugh was appointed by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper to the NCWorks commission.
