At age 15, Shaker Heights native Ethan Holmes launched Holmes Mouthwatering with his grandfather’s applesauce recipe and dreams of entrepreneurial success. From humble origins in his family’s kitchen, Holmes built his brand of all-natural applesauce through sweat equity and persistence. Since 2008, Holmes has grown operations and distribution, winning several entrepreneur pitch competitions and scoring capital infusions from the Cleveland Foundation and Forbes 30 Under 30. The company was also chosen for the Chobani Incubator and SKU Coca-Cola Accelerator. Holmes Mouthwatering has its sights on national and international markets and creating opportunities for community-based entrepreneurs.
