Hard-hitting, inspiring, intelligent, honest, and direct—the Emmy Award–winning broadcaster Ed Gordon is widely known and respected for his stellar interactions with newsmakers from the worlds of politics, entertainment, and sports. He is the president of Ed Gordon Media, a multi-service production company, and in 2020 authored his first book, Conversation in Black. Comprised of more than 40 interviews with leaders and influencers, the best-seller is described as a “virtual conversation” about the state and future of Black America. Recently, Gordon served as host and executive producer of Ed Gordon, an hour-long quarterly newsmagazine on Bounce TV.  He also hosted and executive-produced the signature one-on-one BET series Conversation with Ed Gordon and was a contributing correspondent for CBS News’ 60 Minutes II and NBC’s Today Show and Dateline.  He currently hosts the nationally syndicated radio program, Weekend with Ed Gordon.
