Dana Williams
SVP Marketing and Communications Leader, Regions Bank

Dana N. Williams leads Marketing Strategy across several critical focus areas, including Fraud Prevention Education, Acquired Entities, Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) Sponsorships, and Inclusion, Belonging and Impact. In this role, she drives strategic initiatives that strengthen customer trust, enhance brand engagement, and advance the bank’s commitment to community partnership and inclusive growth. Since joining Regions in 2013, Williams has held a variety of leadership roles within Marketing and Communications. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in shaping integrated marketing strategies, building high-performing teams, and delivering impactful campaigns that align business objectives with meaningful customer and community outcomes. Prior to Regions, Williams built a strong foundation in client services at leading advertising agencies across Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Birmingham, Alabama. In these roles, she managed high-profile campaigns for nationally recognized brands, including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Roche Pharmaceuticals, AT&T, the Atlanta Housing Authority, and the Salvation Army. Her work has been recognized by the American Association of Advertising Agencies as well as the American Advertising Federation who named her Account Executive of the Year. Her agency experience sharpened her expertise in brand strategy, stakeholder management, and cross-channel marketing execution. A native of Prichard, Alabama, Williams earned her degree from Jackson State University. She has served as President of the Birmingham Alumni Chapter of JSU and was a member of the Birmingham Zoo’s Junior Board. With a career spanning both financial services and agency leadership, she is known for her ability to connect strategy with purpose, foster collaboration, and deliver results that create lasting impact for customers, communities, and organizations alike.
