Charles Tims began his career with GEICO in 1992 as a service counselor in the company’s Macon, Georgia, office. He went on to fill increasingly important roles at the company, eventually serving as assistant vice president of Midwest Claims. In his current position, Tims’ responsibilities include leading GEICO’s community engagement and diversity and inclusion initiatives. He also serves as a board member for the advisory council of the National Urban League, Greater Washington Board of Trade, The Economic Club of Washington, DC, and the Tubman Museum of Georgia. He previously served as a board member for the United Way of Central Georgia and National Urban League of Greater Atlanta.
