Speaker Bio
Constance Thompson is a member of ACORE’s leadership team and is responsible for driving and implementing the council’s DEIJ strategy, leveraging ACORE’s public and private networks to build opportunities for smaller renewable energy companies owned and operated by women and people of color. She also advocates for policies and industry best practices that accelerate social and economic justice as the nation transitions to a renewable energy economy. Constance brings to the role over 20 years of experience leading DEI-focused initiatives and strategic partnerships on behalf of Fortune 500s and Ivy League institutions, A Cornell U-certified advanced diversity practitioner, she serves on the boards of Renewables Forward and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy.
