CeLois Steele
Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion & Partnership Engagement/Bristol-Myers Squibb

CeLois Steele is the director of global diversity, inclusion, and partnership engagement at Bristol-Myers Squibb, a leading global biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.  Steele is responsible for building collaborative partnerships and reputational trust among key decision makers and influencers in government, business, and community organizations. She is also responsible for leading the Bristol-Myers Squibb global people and business resource groups that promote cultural diversity to shape a company-wide culture of inclusion and drive business performance in over 100 chapters in 45 countries.  Her career as both a corporate and community leader has focused on strategic programs and initiatives in health, education, workforce development, and human trafficking.  She has earned a reputation for leadership, innovation, commitment, and results in previous roles at IBM, General Mills, Carlson and non-profits such as United Way and Girl Scouts, Inc.  She is a member of The Conference Board Diversity & Inclusion Council, serves on the NAACP Foundation board of directors, and is a former board chair of the Minneapolis Urban League.
