Gig Wage is a venture capital backed SaaS company that has raised $16.5 million to-date to meet the demands of the future workforce and build modern payment tools. Investors include Steve Case (founder of AOL) and Green Dot Corp., among others. With Gig Wage, Craig Lewis has pushed an antiquated industry to modernize by designing a service that meets the demands of on-demand workforces. Prior to building Gig Wage, Craig was a professional basketball player across Europe before returning stateside and becoming an expert in payroll technology and sales. He was chief strategy officer of Kairos, a venture-backed facial recognition and emotion detection startup, named a “Top 20 Startup” by The Wall Street Journal. Craig is the author of “The Sport of the Sales,” and a founder member of Forbes’ Dallas Business Council.
