Candace Mitchell Harris’s mission is to transform the hair care industry and help consumers take the stress out of caring for textured hair. Candace founded MYAVANA, a pioneering textured hair analysis company, in 2012. She invented MYAVANA’s HairAI™ software technology, which has analyzed over 2 billion hair strands to date and produces science-based, data-driven product recommendations to help unique textured hair grow and thrive. Candace has been recognized by the Georgia Tech College of Computing Hall of Fame as a Rising Star, named a Top 40 Under 40 Beauty Innovator by Women’s Wear Daily, listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 in Retail & E-Commerce, and featured by Inc. Magazine, ESSENCE, Black Enterprise, and Marie Claire’s Next Big Thing In Beauty.
