Carmelle Cadet is a passionate advocate for financial inclusion and economic development. She is the founder of EMTECH, a NYC-based fintech that helps central banks from Africa to the Caribbean adopt modern, inclusive technologies and build resilient financial market infrastructures. For the last three years, Carmelle worked on digital currency technologies and strategies to address financial inclusion and lower the cost of cross-border payments. Her experience also includes 10 years at IBM as a corporate finance/treasury and software business development executive. Today, Carmelle is a sought-after thought leader and innovator in the financial services, central banking technology and blockchain space. n 2019, she was named on of NYC’s “Inspiring Fintech Females.”
