Beth Trotter Broussard is Executive Vice President and CRA Director at First Horizon (“FHN”) and is based in Lafayette, Louisiana. Beth manages the bank’s community reinvestment strategy which includes opening banking centers as well as investing and lending in low- and moderate-income areas throughout the bank’s eleven state footprint. Prior to this position, Beth previously oversaw the HMDA and CRA Data Integrity team and served as Associate General Counsel at IBERIABANK. In August 2022, Beth was one of six ARENA Award recipients at the annual FHN Leadership Forum. In October 2022, she was a member of FHN’s “Top Team – Women in Banking” as recognized by American Banker magazine.
Beth graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Tulane University in 1990 and cum laude from Tulane Law School in 1994. She began her law career in private practice at Montgomery, Barnett in New Orleans. Before joining the bank, she clerked for Magistrate Judge C. Michael Hill in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
Beth is a member of the Louisiana State and Lafayette Bar Associations and is currently the Immediate Past Chair of the Community Reinvestment Committee of the Consumer Bankers Association. She also sits on the Building Alabama Reinvestment Community Council, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition’s Bankers Community Collaborative Council, the Board of Directors of Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana, and the Advisory Council of the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, Inc. As a ten-year member of the Board of Directors of the Urban League of Louisiana (“ULLA”), Beth was recognized as ULLA’s Board Member of the Year in 2017. As a ten-year member of the Board of Directors of Lafayette Habitat For Humanity (LHFH), she received the 2026 Leadership Award. She served as co-chair of LHFH’s WomenBuild from 2019-2021 and was Gala Co-Chair for the ULLA Gala in 2022. In past years, Beth served on the Community Development Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and on the Diversity Councils at both IBERIABANK and FHN.
