Agnes Godwin Hall started her retail career in 1993 with roles in buying and planning at Federated Department Stores in Cincinnati, which later became Macy’s. Agnes rejoined Macy’s in 2005 as a senior planner in Atlanta, eventually moving to the Macy’s Cincinnati office, where she worked in multiple leadership roles, leading to her current position. As a member of the DEI leadership team, Agnes supports the company’s Bold New Chapter strategy and Mission Every One social commitment platform by overseeing all colleague initiatives, which include education, colleague engagement, colleague resource groups, DEI education, and safe space events. Prior to rejoining Macy’s, Inc. in 2005, Agnes was the founder and co-owner of Precious Soles, LLP, a premier children’s shoe boutique in Atlanta.
