Amanda Downey is a member of National Grid’s New England Leadership Team and serves as Vice President for Strategy Development and Partnerships. She is responsible for strategy, governance, and management for effective delivery of transition services to PPL, which acquired National Grid’s Narragansett Electric Co. She is also responsible for developing and executing the company’s first-ever workforce development strategy to close the skills and diversity gaps in our New England workforce. Amanda is a member of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE®), a national, non-profit organization comprised of energy professionals dedicated to ensuring the input of African Americans and other minorities in the development of energy policy and environmental issues. She is a co-founder and former president of the Greater Boston Chapter of AABE.
