Stephanie Steward Young
Senior Vice President Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer /Fifth Third Bank

Stefanie Steward-Young serves as senior vice president and chief corporate social responsibility officer.  She is responsible for leading the bank’s corporate social responsibility strategy, community giving, volunteerism, programs and alignment to the Bank’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) leadership. 

Stefanie is a community development professional with more than 20 years of financial industry experience, including leading corporate and regional community reinvestment act (CRA) and charitable giving programs. Before joining Fifth Third, Stefanie worked at PNC and National City Bank, where she led their CRA program for the Central Ohio market, and held roles in branch management, commercial credit and retail training.

Education

Stefanie earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management and marketing from the University of Cincinnati.

Professional and Civic

Stefanie serves on the board of Economic & Community Development Institute (ECDI) and the Ohio CDC Association.  She previously served on the boards of the Columbus Urban League, Homeport, Community Development Collaborative of Greater Columbus, Easter Seals, Homes on The Hill CDC and Franklinton Development Association. In addition, she volunteers and serves on advisory committees for numerous other community-based organizations.

Stefanie received the Business First Forty Under 40 award in 2004, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She is a native of Columbus, Ohio, where she now lives with her husband and three sons.
