Stephen Hewitt is a native of Queens, NY. He currently serves as the Sr. Manager on the Diverse Customer Segment team, where he works to support women-owned and minority-owned businesses. He has previously worked in Corporate Strategy and Marketing throughout his career at UPS.
Prior to his career at UPS, Stephen worked as a Business Specialist at Bank of America, where he deepened relationships with small businesses throughout New York City. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from New York University and a Master of Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Stephen has been passionate about entrepreneurship since his youth. He started his first business at the age of 7, managing a team of 6 to promote local businesses by handing out flyers throughout the community. Outside of work he regularly advises small businesses on best practices to scale.
Stephen believes financial literacy is imperative for young people. He recently published Tyler and Jean’s Lemonade Stand Adventure, to teach kids about entrepreneurship and finance basics. He is planning to release additional books and digital content to empower young people to become financially literate and young entrepreneurs.
