Be Your Own Brand (BYOB) is the culmination of Sheila Coates’ two decades of experience as a marketing executive specializing in artist development, branding and imaging. Blige, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Toni Braxton, Lenny Kravitz, Barry White, and many others. She held senior executive positions with major labels where she managed budgets exceeding $50 million. Through BYOB, Coates has served Fortune 500 clients that include Toyota North America, CocaCola, NBC/Universal, Comcast, Fox Films, and State Farm Insurance.
