Dick Fleming is Chairman and CEO of Community Development Ventures, Inc. In 2012, he led city and regional revitalization/ regeneration efforts in St. Louis as President & CEO of the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association. He has also served as President & CEO of the Metro Denver Chamber and the Greater Denver Corporation, Inc., Vice President /Deputy Director of Central Atlanta Progress, Inc. and led the master planning effort for the Peachtree City New Town in Atlanta. He also oversaw the Community Development Block Grant Program, the Urban Development Action Grant Program, and the Neighborhood Self Help Development Program at the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
Fleming serves on several boards and is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees of Clean Economy Solutions and has served as Board Chairman for the Alliance for Regional Stewardship, The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and The International Downtown Association. He is also an Advisory Board Member for the “Innovation District and Placemaking Project” for the Brookings Institution and Project for Public Spaces, Inc.
He holds an MBA in Public Finance and Master’s in City & Regional Planning from University of Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science & Philosophy from Loyola University.
