Monique Carswell serves as director of the Center for Racial Equity for Walmart.org, where she is responsible for leveraging the company’s business and influence to shape systems within and beyond the organization. She joined Walmart.org as the lead for customer and associate engagement, managing community giving and volunteerism. Previously, she was director of sustainability & corporate social responsibility at Comcast NBCUniversal, where she led the network’s Emmy Award-winning public service campaign “The More You Know.” She also oversaw national and diversity outreach at Teach For America (TFA) and served as director of marketing & strategic partnerships at Black Enterprise. Carswell was the founding director of the WorldofMoney.org Leadership Council, a nonprofit that teaches financial literacy, and is a founding officer of the New York Urban League Young Professionals.
