Kyle Williams is the Industry Manager for J.P. Morgan’s Mid-Atlantic Healthcare, Higher Education and Nonprofit (“HHN”) Commercial Banking group, based out of Washington, DC. He maintains management and leadership responsibility for a portfolio of relationships in the Mid-Atlantic serving nonprofit, healthcare and higher education institutions. His responsibilities include: leadership responsibility for a team of specialized industry commercial bankers supporting the Mid-Atlantic Region; the development and execution of business and marketing strategies with the goal of attracting, retaining and growing banking relationships with HHN organizations; and providing tailored financial solutions to specialized industries and access to JPMorgan’s global capabilities to help them grow. Kyle previously served as HHN Associate Lead, coaching and mentoring HHN’s associates across the country. He also created a series of educational workshops for nonprofit commercial clients, which serves to provide speakers and highlight trends in the marketplace. One of the workshops produced a White Paper on the use of social media in fundraising and donor engagement, which is used by bankers across the country and was published on JPMorgan’s external website.
Previously, Kyle was in the Private Bank, where he worked with high-net worth clients and counseled individuals and families on the acquisition, management and transfer of wealth. He has also managed fiduciary and administrative relationships involving high net-worth clients. Kyle joined JPMorgan in 2005, and previously practiced law as a trusts and estates attorney.
Kyle’s service includes working on behalf of JPMC in India in 2015 as a consultant to an NGO, providing organizational, branding and communications strategies; serving as Global co-Chair of BOLD, JPMorgan’s Black Business Resource Group, and previously as chairman of the Hales Franciscan High School Board of Trustees. Additionally, he is a Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago, a program comprised of business, nonprofit, and civic leaders examining complex issues facing Chicago.
Kyle has been a featured speaker and panelist on various topics pertaining to how arts and culture impact jobs, talent and community vitality; alternatives to traditional financing; issues pertaining to small businesses of color; as well as on funding trends for emerging nonprofits, raising capital and social enterprise.
He has a Juris Doctorate and MBA from the University of Illinois and received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan.
Kyle, his wife, and two children live in Fulton, Maryland.
