Miami-based entrepreneur James Lindsay is the founder and CEO of Rap Snacks. Working in partnership with rap’s biggest names (including Cardi B, Migos, Lil Boosie, Master P, and Romeo), Lindsay has built Rap Snacks into the most visible hip hop-geared snack food brand. Soon after launching Rap Snacks in 1994, Lindsey negotiated co-marketing agreement with Universal Records to feature the label’s artists on all Rap Snacks packaging. The venture eventually grew into a $5 million dollar business based primarily on the sales of 25-cent bags of chips. Lindsay later expanded his product line with the purchase of Philly-based Mr. G snack foods and recently branched into beverages, launching the 5-flavor Lil’ Baby lemonade drinks. He continues to broaden his influence in the corporate sector, securing brand deals with PUMA, Monster Energy Drink, and Ciroc, as well as partnering with Monster Headphones help create the company’s 24k headphones. Lindsay has been featured on “CBS Morning Show”, ABC’s “The Jimmy Kimmel Show”, BET, and Black Enterprise.
