Edward Tepporn

Edward Tepporn is the Executive Vice President at the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF). Edward joined APIAHF’s staff in 2002. During his time at APIAHF, he has lead programming for the Pacific Island Jurisdictions AIDS Action Group’s Regional HIV Summits, facilitated numerous trainings and workshops, broadened the diversity of APIAHF’s capacity building assistance recipients, and co-authored several key reports and issue briefs.
Prior to joining APIAHF, Edward served as Director of Education at Saint Louis Effort for AIDS and as Community Co-Chair of Missouri's Statewide HIV/STD Prevention Community Planning Group. As an associate at Aplomb Consulting, he was instrumental in amFAR’s National AIDS Update Conference and the San Francisco Pride Celebration & Parade.
Edward received a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Washington University. He was also a Nelson Mandela Scholarship recipient in the M.S.W. program at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work.
Edward is a member of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Office of Minority Health and Health Equity Coordinating Council for Diversity in Public Health. He previously served as Secretary for the Federal AIDS Policy Partnership’s Convening Group.
